Chemicals
Corrosives on site. Water within ten seconds.
Chemical plants, blending and drum filling areas, tank farms and loading bays need eyewash and safety showers wherever a splash can happen. We supply plumbed and self contained units to ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 and EN 15154, with tempering and freeze or heat protection for each location.

What chemicals projects need
Get these right first
Reach in 10 seconds
ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2014 puts the unit within 10 seconds of the hazard, about 17 metres, on the same level with a clear path. Strong acids and caustics call for the unit right beside the hazard.
Tepid for 15 minutes
The standard asks for 16 to 38°C water for the full 15 minutes. Thermostatic mixing valves or tank units keep it there.
Eye and body together
Combination units give a 75.7 L/min shower and an eye and face wash from one station, so one location covers both.
Prove it weekly
Weekly activation and an annual inspection are part of the standard. Z358 One keeps the records for audits.
