What matters on site

01

Reach in 10 seconds

ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2014 puts the unit within 10 seconds of the hazard, about 17 metres, on the same level with an unobstructed path.

02

Flow for 15 minutes

At least 1.5 L/min for eyewash and 75.7 L/min for showers, for a full 15 minutes, with a valve that opens in one second and stays open hands free.

03

Tepid in Gulf heat

The standard asks for water between 16 and 38°C. Exposed pipework in GCC summers runs far hotter, so we specify insulated tanks, chillers or cooled units where the supply cannot stay tepid.

04

Prove it every week

Weekly activation and an annual inspection are part of the standard. Z358 One keeps the records for audits.
