Your data, plainly explained.
What we collect when you use aquelon.com, why, who handles it and how to ask us to change or delete it.

Who we are
Aquelon is a brand of Venti Red FZ-LLC, Platinum Tower, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Venti Red FZ-LLC is responsible for the personal data collected through aquelon.com. For anything in this policy, email sales@aquelon.com with "Privacy" in the subject.
We handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation.
What we collect

We do not use advertising or analytics tracking on aquelon.com.
The AI product specialist
The "Ask a specialist" chat is an AI assistant. It answers from our product catalogue and published standards, and it can make mistakes, so the team confirms every specification and price on your quote.
Each message you send, with the conversation so far, is passed to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model, to generate the reply. Anthropic processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat.
The conversation is only sent to our team if you give your contact details and agree to be contacted. It is then saved with your enquiry so we can follow it up. Otherwise it stays in your browser for that session and is not kept by us.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote, including sending you the acknowledgement email and following up. This is needed to take steps at your request before a contract.
- To supply and support what you order, under our contract with you or your company.
- To send the newsletter, only if you tick the consent box. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any newsletter or emailing us.
- To run and protect the site, including rate limits and fraud prevention, which is in our legitimate interest.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who processes it
We use these service providers. Each handles data only on our instructions.

We may also share your enquiry with the manufacturer of the products you asked about when that is needed to price or supply them, and with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers are outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the UAE we rely on the providers' contractual safeguards.
Cookies and storage
aquelon.com does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser's own storage for a few conveniences that stay on your device:
- your project list, so products you add carry through to the quote form;
- a note that you have unlocked the catalogues, so you are not asked for your email again;
- the current chat conversation, cleared when you close the tab or start a new chat.
You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Content management pages at /admin are for our staff only.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and quote records for as long as we need them to respond, to supply and support any order, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host. When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it for the newsletter or any other purpose based on consent or legitimate interest;
- send your data to you or another organisation in a usable format.
Email sales@aquelon.com. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or, if you are in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Our system keys are stored on the server, never in the website code. Uploaded files go straight to our operations system and are not kept on the web server. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it.
